A storyline about a missing baby in BBC soap EastEnders is being rewritten because of similarities with the Madeleine McCann case in Portugal.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Someone got murderered this month, so are they going to remove all murder storylines? Also there was probably someone who's husband cheated on them, so I imagine none of that will be happening in Soaps ever again, so as not to offend the person. It's like the McCann's have suddenly become king and queen of the country and no one is allowed to do anything that would possible offend them.



Oh and we wouldn't want tv to bear any relation to real life either would we...I mean that would just suck. Best to keep the masses distracted with ridiculous fantasies.
