This is great news about Alan Johnston, it's not often you get something positive on the top of BBC news! It's also quite encouraging that Hamas worked for his release and ultimately were the only people who could do it, but obviously "a spokesman for Mr Brown said Britain's policy towards Hamas had not changed". I guess we do need to show them that you can't just kidnap journalists and blackmail us, but on the other hand it wasn't really Hamas that did it...
