I'm trying to watch the 10pm News from the BBC but every few minutes it brings up this screen saying "For copyright reasons we cannot show this video. The BBC Ten O'Clock News will resume shortly."Why is this?

I'm trying to watch the 10pm News from the BBC but every few minutes it brings up this screen saying "For copyright reasons we cannot show this video. The BBC Ten O'Clock News will resume shortly."

I think it's because some footage of live events in areas where the Beeb doesn't have a crew is licensed from other agencies (e.g. AFP or Reuters), and the contracts currently used to license this footage only cover radio broadcasts rather than Internet transmission.
Hopefully, as TV over IP becomes more important, the contracts will change...
