McCAIN FOR PRESIDENT!

Haha this guy is just becoming hilarious. I think he's actually the favourite to become President in 2008, American's seem to love this kind of blatant disregard and contempt of criticism.



So basically as I said yesterday, he's missed 42 votes in a row, he skipped a debate yesterday about immigration, but then when the deal was done he suddenly appeared to take part in the press conference and talk about how well he's done! Fortunately, it seems someone with a brain was present:

“Wait a second here,” Cornyn said to McCain. “I’ve been sitting in here for all of these negotiations and you just parachute in here on the last day. You’re out of line.”

A fair point some would say? McCain's response (bearing in mind this is the house of the Senate where language should probably be polite):

Fuck you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room!

Ah. That explains it then. He doesn't need to show up for work because he already knows more than any other senator, despite not having taken part in any discussions or debates.
