The Difference Between Defence And Aggression

Townhall.com::Living in Terror::By Fred Thompson

This concept seems to entirely evade Fred Thompson. He thinks that Palestinians firing on their occupiers, who are controlling their land illegally, is the same as Canada firing missiles into America. No, that would be an act of aggression rather than defence. I wrote him an email:

You sir, are an idiot. Palestinians firing into Israel are defending their own occupied land. Canada firing into the USA would be an act of aggression.

Israel illegally invaded Gaza and the West Bank in 1967 in the six-day war and still hold this land, illegally in the eyes of the international community.

They have every right to defend themselves. I don't know where you heard that Palestinians are faking deaths and injuries, any proof? I've seen footage of Israeli soldiers using Palestinian children as human shields, so they're both as bad as each other.

The only solution is for Israel to leave the occupied lands and give the Palestinians control over their own county, then there would be no need for violence.

Thanks.
