Madeleine McCann (still)

BBC NEWS | UK | Rowling in Madeleine poster plea
Posters of missing Madeleine McCann are to be made available to book retailers around the world at the request of Harry Potter author JK Rowling.
Er, isn't it a bit late? I saw a poster of her up in Tesco's yesterday and just thought "wow...people are still worrying about this?"

Rowling:"I fervently hope that posters displayed prominently in shops all over the world when the new book comes out will help find Madeleine McCann and will help raise the profile of the many other missing children in different countries."

Oh really? How's it going to help them? Are there going to be pictures of every missing child ever on this poster? Is she going to release one of these posters every time a child goes missing anywhere?

I'll always remember hearing, about two weeks after Madeleine went missing, that 450 children had gone missing in the UK since her. I don't think any of them got a mention anywhere....

If this campaign achieves anything, it will be increased sales of her book.
