The parents of Madeleine McCann, the British girl who disappeared two years ago during a family holiday in Portugal, say they believe she is still alive and will be found.

The little girl’s room “is all ready, waiting”, her mother, Kate McCann told talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

“I go in (the room) about twice a day to talk to her, just to say hello.

“I don’t feel that she’s that far away,” her mother added.

Oh my god, this is embarrasing. Someone needs to make them confront the truth, it's been over two years? And they still walk into her room and "talk to her" even though she's not there, because she's dead. All this "we won't stop till we find her" nonsense might sound brave and caring and whatever, but it's also blinding yourself to the truth and will make acceptance/closure so much harder when or if they ever decide to embrace it.
